Blackjack players sometimes wait for the right moment before betting a huge sum down on the next hand.
For example, a player may simply bet $5 to $10 on a few round of blackjack. After a few rounds of the dealer winning, say 3 rounds consecutively, and the player has lost a small amount of money. On the next bet and so on, they will start to bet much bigger. A win will recuperate the loss from the previous rounds, it will also allow a profitable win. Needless to say, this requires an element of luck, but for some reason, if you’ve had consecutive losses of 3 or more, its quite hard to become profitable unless we bet a big hand when the timing is right, because trying to fight back and win every hand afterward is not easy in Blackjack.
You might break even, but a profitable win is not likely without that big bet.
